    Sky Deals

I am currently paying £65.50 per month for Sky (all channels, a Sky+ Box and two extra standard Sky Boxes (which means £20 a month for multiroom))

I am thinking about calling up and threatening to cancel and see what they offer me to stay. I did this about six months ago and all they would offer me was to half the price of each multiroom subscription for six months (so it was £10 per month instead of £20) but this has now finished and I am back up to full price.

I was tempted by the Sky+ HD offer but I don't want to pay out £10 a month for that as well! If I did I would want to have the HD box in place of the Sky+ box and then move the Sky+ box to another room in the house - any one know is Sky would do this or would they try and charge me for installation of that too!

Anyway, I am just wondering if anyone has rung Sky up recently and threatened to cancel and if it worked, what did they get? Whenever I call I seem to have to call up a few times before I get anywhere and usually don't get offered that good of a deal whereas some people get amazing deals!

    Thanks

Its the luck of the draw.
Why would Sky want to offer you money off when you are giving them so much every month?
Try it though. You might get lucky! Good luck.

Because if they don't I will leave and they will get nothing! Well, I probably won't leave but they dont know that!

wow you do pay a lot just to watch tv!

its always worth ago but I doubt you'll get anything too fantastic

I was on the full Sky package, multiroom and HD and paying £66 ish a month. I phoned up to cancel the multiroom,HD and reduce it down to the basic package. They didn't offer me anything to for me to keep my package. I genuinely wanted to reduce my package so I was to bothered.. Paying about £16 per month now so saving £50 a month..
