to be honest we have had nothing but problems over the last year with Virgin if its not there phone service its been the broadband (constant faults) and also the lack of new channels and a drop on the ondemand content

I have virgin phone and broadband and have absolutley no problems with them.
    I have sky TV.
I would not go with Sky broadband I have heard bad reports from a lot of people.

Ive got the full package with sky and think value for money ther unbeatable.

sky broadband is terrible.... and their prices are silly for tv! I switched to Virgin... much better off!!!

Gosh, another person who hasnt researched right, regular Sky broadband through the BT network which is non LLU is awful like many non LLU companies, however Sky LLU us amazing I have had Sky broadband for 6 months, download large files regularly and get 18 and a half meg that never slows down, never had warnings, Youtube always fast etc.

Did you get LLU or non? Even if LLU theres a chance its bad wiring of socket or interferance.

Let me give you some advice, we switched to Sky when they used that scare tactic of switching it off Virgin in the middle of a season of 24. After that finished we weren't too impressed with Sky and promptly switched back after 12 months.

Put it this way too, to merely access HD channels you have to pay a premium to do so. With Virgin that isn't the case. The HD selection is steadily increasing, with the latest addition being Sky 1 HD. So if it is for the HD selection, just hold the fort for a few months. I have faith Virgin will be the exact same as Sky in terms of HD selection.
