Yes, but you will need to have the feed you have for your TV upstairs linked with your Sat Box downstairs, so it can carry the signal. You will then also be able to change channels whilst upstairs.

ah ok thanks for that, rep'd x

these are great. i have on. the only limitation they have is both tv's will be showing the same channel, but if you are the only one who will be watching tv, this will not be a problem.

I would like to be able to watch tv in kitchen with the magic eye. From reading all the comments, i'm assuming its wireless as I really don't relish the thought of coaxial cable running all over the house. Thanks for any advice.

No, Magic Eye is not wireless but runs on coaxial cable and plugs into the aerial socket of your second TV.

    Magic Eye ]here

You're thinking of wireless sender like ]this

we watch sky tv on all the tvs in our house (5 of them) with no multiroom or magic eye. we have the coax going from the sky dish into the sky box then from the aerial out we run another lead out to our booster in the roof which links all the tv sockets in the house to the aerial. we can only change channel in the lounge but it means we can watch the chosen program in any room and we dont have any leads anywhere visable in the house.

The Magic Eye plugged into the TV where you're watching will allow you to change the channel from there.

we have a booster box behind our tv downstairs which feed all the bedrooms, would this work the same? if I were to have an aerial lead go from my sky box to my booster box (right next to each other) would I then be able to view sky on the bedroom tellies? sorry not very bright lol

I can do this from the bedrooms, Games room and lounge also. I dont have a magic eye, nor, multi room subscription and I can watch any channel I want without any subscription needed. All on the TV, but if I wanted, I can use the lappys or PCs for my HD fix as well.

    I do have a dreambox. :-D

yes it would work, then you just go around each of the tvs in the house and tune in the sky chanel just as if you were tuning in bbc etc. we have all the tvs set up in the house so sky is on channel 6, that way we pick a chanel in the lounge on the sky box and the kids watch it upstairs or in the play room etc.
