    Sky+ or SkyHD

What is the best way/deal to get this as cheap as possible? I am only interested in the normal channel packages but not Sky movies.

I have seen those guys from Sky at my local supermarket, is it worth talking to them????

the previous house owner had sky but he took the receiver with him, i have a multifeed dish at the moment one LNB set for sky. however i noticed that even iTV is locked on sky and is not free to air anymore.

Yes, I am a new customer.

    Thanks

You should be able to get Sky+ for free then, or Sky HD at half price.

Take a look though the Hot Deals thread, there were several offers posted over the last 2/3 weeks. I think the best was the "recommend a friend" - free Sky+ & free fitting

go via quidco and save £85

You will only be able to pay full price for the box, installation and subscription if you do it online

Ive heard that if i ring up and mention virgin offered me sky + typea thing - then sky will offer me sky + for free.....this true?

I called Sky about HD because the house I'm living in has had Sky for years, they wanted £300 for the box + installation.

    They can kiss my ass.

Yup, but first they will offer half price box etc, keep pushing ("Well virgin werent charging me anything...") and you will end up with free box and installation.

do what i did,,,,,,,bought a brandnew hd box on ebay for £180 delivered,,,,,,,unplugged my sky + box, plugged in my nice new sky hd box,,,,and flogged the old sky + box on ebay for £70.........so got a sky hd box for £110,,,,very nice,,,considering sky want £299 for one lol

That's probably what I'll do too.

Do you need a HD viewing card or anything ?

no,,,,,,,use same card as you allready have,,,,just ring sky to pair the card with your new box
