    Sky+ register a friend query

I am planning on signing up to Sky in the next few days (as a new subscriber). My mum is a current sky customer, but does not have Sky+

It would therefore seem sensible to get her to recommend me (via the recommend a friend website), and then for me to sign up online.

    But I have two questions:

    1) When I sign up online, should I select the Sky+ option (even if it still comes up as £99) - do I later get a rebate? or will it detect that i've been recommended and take the £99 fee off?

    2) If I go down the 'i've been recommended by a friend route', will I still be able to sign up going via quidco and get my £135 cashback?

    thanks

    anybody?

as far as im aware with the deals sky have , you wouldnt get a rebate, you would need to sign up using a code, there are some around at the moment, as for quidco, i dont think you can do that either as thats an online sign up where the code is used over the phone
