Sky tv just gone anyone else with the same problem?

It's not snowing anymore here but surely that shouldn't affect the dish outside?

I agree we had a lot of snow last night (near Basingstoke) and the signal went, I got the step ladder out this morning and brushed off the lnb and it worked ok. still snowing and already no signal, but we have had 11" of snow since 6 last night.

Why, does a communal dish not react the same way to snow as other dishes?

My Virgin Media is fine :-D
