SkyQ £199 upfront instead of £12 multiroom subscription

Found 26th Nov 2017
You have the option to pay £199 upfront for Sky Q 2TB box installation and keep your existing non-multiroom package and not pay an extra £12 a month.

As we don't want multiroom I don't see a downside to this. We want to pause the TV and continue in an app - you get two active apps without the £12 - and get the 2TB storage, new SkyQ UI, touch and voice remote with finding feature.

You can get the 2TB box installation for £65 if you signup to the £12 for 18 months, but that works out more than the £199.

Any downside I'm missing? What Q features might we not get? Not interested in 4k.
