    Slot on my pc

I just noticed on my pc that there is a slot below the VGA slot. It is yellow, wider than the vga slot - almost rectangular and has 15 pins as well(holes). Does anyone know what its for?

I have tried to find out on the internet and cant find it - kinda annoying me know. Its a dell desktop (2003) and i dont have the manual anymore

Thanks for that, i never heard of it before - rep added

Before the days of USB the port was commonly used for joysticks, I think they are also used for a midi interface but never seen that part of it.
