Smartphone cpu's Helio x20 or Snapdragon 625 or is there any other youd suggest.

I presume you're looking at models of the Xiaomi Note 4 as that comes with either chipset. You just need to look at the horrible feedback for the mediatek, I've yet to see one positive thing, it's all complaints and people quickly getting rid.

So on paper/benchmarks the x20 is faster. Except only for about 30 seconds until it overheats and throttles itself slower than the snapdragon before your phone sets on fire.

The battery life is half that of the snapdragon because its inefficient buggy crap.

You also won't get updates official or unofficial because no one wants to work with that junk. The mediatek note 4 is stuck on a buggy rom left on android 6, the snapdragon is stable and on android 7.

Generally any mediatek phone will be buggy, get no updates, run hot and have awful battery life

With Xiaomi you def want the Snapdragon 625 to get all the updates etc
