Sneaky trick to save 1/3 on rail fares using a Gold card

Posted 18th Oct
Many of you will be commuters and have an annual season ticket, a gold card which gives you a third off travel (including Oyster!) with multiple people alternatively you can buy one of these tickets between two stations for as little as as £160 which will give you you this benefit by another means.

Savings can be significant. Buying between Hatton and Lapworth gives you a gold card for £160. It also gives you 1/3 off oyster fares in London. I learned this hack from Geoff Marshalls video here. Thank you Geoff and Alex
