So by Brown inviting Thatcher

I think he wants us to believe that she was a good leader. And since she was at the heart of the tory philosophy, I think Brown wants us to vote for the tories. They have my vote, no doubt about that!

Lol. I dont like Brown simple really. I do like Blair however, he did make a lot of things better as well as some worse. One good thing he did was implement the Human Rights Act into UK law. But Blair's economic policies were hugely derived from Thatcher. And seeing as Brown was Blair's economic policies lol, it makes sense why he would listen to her.

Scots hate Thatcher (as well as any Tory)

Labour support in Scotland is therefore extremely strong as everyone no doubt knows.

If Brown allies himself with Thatcher its just simply suicide for them in Scotland.
The SNP already beat them in the Scottish parliament, and no-one here has any liking to Brown just because he's Scottish since no-one really likes him anyway.

If he keeps it up, Scottish votes could easily swing to another party (SNP?), while the Tories could make gains in England.

I could see Labour getting in power yet again, some people just don't learn... Far more interested in Scottish politics, the minority government with a party that actually cares about the country is making politics warm and fuzzy for me

Who? The SNP?

They're more useless than Labour.
I lean towards independence, but i just would never vote for those idiots.
Too Euro leaning, and i dont see the point of leaving one Union to be a tiny part in a far larger Union, especially when all the powers we would get and currently have, would be surrendered to central EU control.

But thats the case at the moment. We are in the EU and their laws are higher than ours

And as part of the UK we have a far larger say in making those laws.
Or like most of the EU countries, ignoring them if we feel like it.

The SNP would have us blindly signing up to the Euro.
Get control of our own finances to give it away to the EU bank??
In the UK there is a bias to the south of England in monetary policy, but that would divert to a bias towards the larger EU states, which are currently a lot worse off than the UK.
