    some help with avi syncing!

    hi all i have a divx avi file which has a sync issue used vdub and got sync right went to save file and the avi file is huge! so what can i do to fix the sync without the size ballooning ?

    There is a section in the virtual dub documentation that talks about the added overhead caused by synching with a VBR encoded stream. try *converting* the Audio to a Constant Bit Rate and recompile it. Also might be worth asking on this forum

    well i did go through all that but no cigar didnt know the conversion software i used had it built in and all is well!
