    Some travel advice needed please

Hi guys, i need some help

I have been given a ticket from sony at work to the chelsea vs copenhagen game tomorrow evening. Looking at trains times etc, im ok with all of that stuff but i live in southampton and will travel to clapham junction on the train, then i will go from there to west brompton via the overground rail line. does any one know if u need a travel card for that or if my normal train ticket will be ok? im on various websites trying to get a good deal and find out but not having much luck. I need to travel to be in london for 5pm as we need to meet at the stadium at 6pm. So giving me enough time to get from clapham to west brompton and then walk to the stadium. Also confused with off peak, super off peak and open returns etc.

Sorry to be a pain. I'm just useless at this sort of stuff

any help will be appreciated. thankyou.

Id sell the ticket and watch it down the pub, using the money you've earnt.

If you're not keen on that idea, check out the national rail website.

lol unfortunately i dont physically have the ticket. I will meet up with some others and we go to one of the boxes in the stadium. I did check national rail, but they only give me my journey to clapham, and im unsure as to whether i need to get a travel card or not.
