I thought it was on the screen, but from trying to wipe, it would appear it is between the screen and the plastic.

this is a first for me!

I hope not. It seems to have gone to the side.

I hope he comes back, ive called him Jane.

Thanks. It isn't what i thought it would be. I was going to guess it was some sort of dodgy screen saver. I have no idea how you will get that little bug out.

mines quite happy

Arrrghh its back
And its got a friend

Just did a search for thunderbugs having never heard of them, had to scroll down the google page but found a thread on avforum or something like that, it basically said they are attracted to bright lights, they suggested you turn everything off and have a bright light source near to lure them out, several people on there said it worked.

well I've learnt something new today, thanks!! Bit freaked that you can get things in your screen, but I hope you get it out!!

Amazing! That really shouldn't be possible. If I were you I would assume that the bug was there all along, must have been sandwiched in there at the factory, and you just noticed it - at least that's what you should tell Samsung when you ask for a warranty replacement. If it is a fly, it may have grown from an egg that was laid on the glass at the factory.:?
Is your screen new Titchimp?
ps i know its not a glass screen or a Samsung but the reason of how the bug could get there seemed plausible to me.

There was a little Thunderfly in my 22" screen a couple of days ago. It seemed to make an exit when I switched the screen off for the night, not seen it back since. I should imagine that this will be a more common occurance now that CRT's are on the decline.
