Something like a GoPro

I'm going away and would like to record video. I can't afford a GoPro so looking for something similar. Does anyone have any recommendations sub £100?

Or this one looks good, but is is too 'cheap'? It has good reviews:

There's nothing like a GoPro unless you're buying a proper "brand" camera
Buy a cheap knock off and receive a cheap knock off-simple really

I think it depends upon what you're looking for - if you're after professional grade photo/video, there's nothing quite like a high end camera; if you're after an underwater camera for some holiday snaps, then a cheaper version would probably be fine.

I should have said. Not after anything fancy, not underwater, just something that will take a few short videos. Some from a moving train, some of the mountains, some walking round ruins. I don't need a professional quality but I don't want blurry images that I can't see if I use it when moving around.

It's 1080p and most of the negatives seem to centre around grainy images at night. I think it'll probably be fine for your needs. Im tempted myself.

The SJCAM SJ4000 is regarded as the best go pro copy. In fact there's even fake sj4000's on the market.

I got one of these from Aldi for £30 - £60 on Amazon amazon.co.uk/Nat…3A0 used it in France last year. Did the business ? Gave to the kids to use on water slides. Took it kayaking down the Ardeche.loads of bits to connect to lots of things - no brainer - hotukdeals.com/dea…298

This^^^. Great camera for the price. but as mentioned even SJ now copied. I have SJ5000 and it's great!

Yi Action camera is getting a lot of love. More expensive than you're looking to spend, but all the features found on more expensive Hero 5 Black

If you don't need the screen, have a look at the Mobius (or the 2nd version) both under £100 and IIRC the 1st gen would run for 80 mins on the small battery.

Good quality as well.
