2 adults and 2 children, not really got any particular budget although as cheap as possible really!

I stopped in one of the travel lodges.. nice clean simple rooms.. very cheap if you ae on a budget ?
they are scattered in good spots all over london.. we stopped in the covent garden one which was closest to the theatres as we were there to see hamlet. it was also right by the british museum

Travel Lodges are at the cheaper end of the scale for London. I've booked my manager into the one at Covent Garden a couple of times and he's not complained to me, so it must be ok !! You'll probably still have to pay £70-£100 a room per night depending on which part of london you want to stay in.
