Sony Android 4K HDR TV KD-43XD8088 & Philips Bluetooth Headphones SHB8850NC ?

Hi, I have recently purchased Philips Bluetooth Headphones SHB8850NC as I am trying to pair them up with my Sony TV but they don't seem to be pairing up.

I am trying the following way:-

Home > Settings > Bluetooth Settings > Device List > Add a Accessory > Searching For Accessories

After that it keeps searching but couldn't find my Bluetooth headphones.

They are working fine with my phone but they are not connecting with the TV at all ?

Sony TV has got Bluetooth connectivity as it's currently paired up with Sony Bluetooth Voice Remote but I can't get it to work with my Philips Headphones.

Any suggestions ?

Thank You.

Bluetooth is one of those protocols that don't have any core functionality but a set of standard functionalities (called profiles) that devices can pick and choose from.

So just because the TV supports bluetooth input devices doesn't mean it supports bluetooth audio output. I would check the website and manual and see if there's any mention of audio output to bluetooth devices. If there isn't then it almost certainly doesn't support it.
