Dear All,

If any of you have been unable to travel to work due to last weeks adverse weather and use Southern Rail services to commute then you can claim for partial or full refunds on your travel tickets. Please note, this only applies to Southern Railways users, not South Western.

From Southern:

Customers are advised that refunds are available due to the recent the weather disruption for Monday 2 and Tuesday 3 February 2009 unused tickets will receive a full refund.

For other daily tickets refunds will be 100% for 2 hours delay and 50% for a 1 hour delay.

For seasons including weeklies customers may apply for a refund on expiry of their ticket.

To apply for a refund download a refund form from southernrailway.com/ref…nds or pick one up from any staffed Southern ticket office and send your refund request along with your unused/expired tickets to:

Weather Disruption,
Refunds Office
Southern
Freepost LON 15973

Refunds will be returned via cheque.

Thanks
