Car is due a service

If you look in the car handbook it will explain what all the symbols mean

Look on YouTube if you just want to clear it of dashboard.

Nothing to worry about - as mentioned above, probably due a service but check your car handbook for confirmation.

For future reference, you only need to worry if the potato light comes on.

As above it's just due a service, either get it serviced or google your car model (how to turn off service light).

No, that one lets you see better in the dark.

Don’t you just love when your car reminds you…it’s time for a service as said above…either book yourself one or in your manual will explain how to get rid of it!

Only if your car runs on vegetable oil

If its saying brake switch, check your brakes are working! If not, it's the switch itself, easy fix its just the case of putting your head under the dash where the pedals are, disconnecting the plug and taking the old switch out

Make model and age of car might help.

Find the service reset code and try that first.
If not it’s time for a scan.

You'll be out of luck if it's sunflower oil!

Any issue with my car I don’t know about I call out the AA say I’m Not willing to drive it, get them check and give me the issue to be fixed then use this info to give to the garage .

Saves going in clueless being at the mercy of the garage

Depending on the car its probably just the service light, meaning that it is due a service. There are many guides on youtube that will tell you how to turn it off with no tools required. Then it's down to you if you want to get it serviced or not, at least the light isnt annoying you.

So you just call them over the phone and explain the situation? And they diagnose the problem over the phone? Without you having a breakdown cover with them or anything?

I had the spanner light on my fiat dashboard and panicked expecting the worst..
Turned out it was a blown sidelight bulb 🤷🏻‍♂️

I get free cover with my bank , Example

Car was misfiring , rang AA said my car isn’t running proper and I don’t want to drive it .

AA come and found that water had got inside the spark plugs . So I Dried the plugs and holes and fixed the water ingress issue myself .

Imagine taking car in garage saying it’s misfiring ! Probably say you need a new engine haha that’s £5k
