    Specsavers

I bought some designer Tommy Hilfiger glasses 8 months back, after my eye test. The glasses have diamontes down each side.

The past few months they have been gradually dropping off, but now it looks awful.

I called specsavers and they said that as I have had them longer than 6 months it isnt there responsability. I am waiting for a call back as I wasnt accepting that ( I paid over £100 for them)

I know some of you will think its pety, but I wear them quite a lot and they do look bad now. After 8 months, I dont see why I should buy a new frame, not as if I have been picking them off, I really look after them.

    What do you think?

Please no nastiness, I really can not be bothered with it.

I got my current glasses from Tesco they are ace for the price.

I went in store and chose the one's I wanted.

Then I ordered them on-line because they cost less on-line.

    Nastiness on here, never

one side only has 2 in the middle the other has 3 from the top. Really not a good look when I wear them a lot. Thanks for the suggestions, never really thought about contacting them direct.

does this apply to all opticians? ie: Boots in particular?

what i cant understand is that you eye test is usually annually so you would expect waanty to be? maybe cos its cosmetic in you case but i would go in and tell them you reject them as faulty goods and wold like a refund-then shop elsewhere.

went in yesterday, the staff were terrible, I cant do anything as its been 6 months or more, I tried, and argued but NOPE. The annoying thing is they dont have a head office, you have to deal with the store direct.

Now I am on the hunt for tiny square crystals, to superglue on (I hope)

Should have gone to specsavers....... er never again.
