contact mr loophole to get you off

Did you not receive your original notification within 14 days? If you did not receive a notice of prosecution (NIP) within that time frame you should be able to get off with it

i am sure it has to be within 14 days

I have had a clean driving license for 23 years and always had old cars to drive. Got a new Suzuki Jimny few months ago and now have 6 points for speeding. Last one was being caught doing 84 on the motorway few weeks ago coming back from Manchester. Those 14 days waiting to see if I had any more to come in was an absolute nightmare - but thankfully nothing. I can assure you that I HAVE learned my lesson

As Tinks said - because they are taking you to court its going to be a long wait

i just want to get it over

It doesn't really matter what you want, does it?

As you don't give a stuff, just sit and suffer, wondering......

Unfortunately there's not much you can do at the moment as you have to wait for your summons to court, there's a six month limit for laying the information for the offence to the courts but the summons itself can be one or two months later which means you may have some time to wait yet (up to around eight months or possibly more depending on the court). When you do receive the summons the quickest way to deal with it is to send it back pleading guilty, if they're not planning on banning you (which is more likely for more serious speeding offences) then you won't need to go to court and you'll get a third off the fine, you then just pay up and send your license away.

It sounds like you were unlucky not to get a fixed penalty notice for 94mph on a motorway though, were there roadworks or was it a standard 70mph?

+1. I got caught doing 94 on the motorway and was given an on the spot 3 pts and £60 fine. Felt very lucky with that and have been a very good boy since.

I highly recommend that you post your query on the PePiPoo FightBack Forums , specifically in the Speeding and other Criminal Offences forum .

You should scan both the forms you have received and all relevant documents into your computer, hide/remove any personal details, and then post your query together with your scanned documents (minus personal identifying information) in the forum as above.

You should then receive appropriate and constructive advice from the experienced experts at the PePiPoo forums.

Yeah, totally agree. The sooner the courts get this **** off the road , the better

Hopefully, the OP will get a 6 month ban

Caught a second time? You're going to lose your licence and have to take an extended driving test when you've applied for a provisional at the end of your ban. Probably lose your job too. Good i say.

I love the fact that all the haters on here will have at some point or other gone over the speed limit like everyone does. So seems a tad hypocritical

not at all. I have exceeded the speed limit but not by 24mph TWICE!

and to say "lesson isnt learnt" is why bad drivers like this should be banned. Pretty sure OP will be banned. Fingers crossed.

There are no haters on HUKD. Especially not in Misc.

How do you know OP is a bad driver just because he was driving fast?

I've seen drivers making some extremely dangerous maneuvers on the motorway within the speed limit. I break the speed limit every time a go on a motorway and have been doing so for 25 years without an accident or a conviction. Some people have much faster reaction speeds than others, they can read the road better and judge other drivers driving styles in order to avoid an accident.

someone who drives at 94mph in a 70mph limit is quite clearly an awful driver

Actually the worst drivers on the road are those who drive really slow and hesitate all the time or are concentrating on their kids in the back, or on mobile phones instead of concentrating on the road.

The 70mph limit was introduced for cars that had breaking distance 4-5 times longer than a modern car. You never see a taxi driver speeding because they are trying to conserve fuel....but they are the worst drivers on the road because they think they own it.

Rubbish taxi drivers speed like mad in our town up to 50 in a 30 to get to the next fair. They get paid by distance covered.
