    Splitting Internet cables - ps3 > xbox

I have a ethernet cable running from my modem to the back of my TV where i have my ps3 and xbox. Rather than run 2 cables is it possible for me to split that 1 into 2 smaller cables?

I know the PS3 is wireless, but for the life of me i cant get the 2 things to communicate. My modem hates it !

anyone know of any product? or have done it in the past?
