    Spooky Maths Quiz

Carry out this test; it's quite bizarre. Just follow the instructions as quickly as possible but only one question at a time --do not carry on reading the following questions before you finish the previous one. You do NOT need to write the answers, just do it using your mind. You'll be overwhelmed by the result. It's better to scroll down using the down arrow instead of using the mouse.

You have just thought about a red hammer, haven't you?

If this is not the case, you are among 2% of the people who have a "different," if not "abnormal," mind.

98% of the folks would answer a "red hammer" while doing this exercise. If you do not believe this, pass it around and you'll see.
    Freaky huh?

i thought of a red hammer

Oh, I got bored and thought it was a trick so I scrolled down and cheated - wish I didn't now but serves me right, I suppose! :giggle:

Red spanner ... then changed my mind to red hammer
    W E I R D

    I chose a pink spanner

IIRC the reason it works is because when you do maths, your brain thinks in red.

It works the other way too, staring at something red for a long time improves your ability to use numbers.

Don't ask me where hammer comes in appart from it's probably the most commonly known tool.

I thought of a yellow spade...whenever I think of a hammer it's one with an unpainted wooden handle so it would have been a brown hammer if that's the tool I was thinking of.

98% positive i got all the maths questions correct, just the other 3% that makes me think i could be wrong.

Also hungover whilst doing the test, don't believe it matters if you get the maths questions correct because i believe they are only there to relax your mind.
