hi i have sse broadband but there router is crap and i want to use my old bt hub 5 can i do this what do i do thanks

Actually, that might not be what you need, you may be able to use the homehub with SSE but you'll have to change the broadband user/pass login from bthomehub@btbroadband.com to your user & password supplied by SSE. I can't guarantee that'll work though.

The HH5 isnt the best either, and has a number of issues, both compatibility and security.

If you use a Chromecast device, read up before swapping as without an update it will crash the HH5.
If its because of the wireless then yes you can, I have set it up and it's easy to do.
