Stand up comics

Love stand up comedians, was watching Michael Mcintyre on the Royal Variety the other day, tried to find his DVD but to no avail sadly.

So, my fav's are Lee Evans and Peter Kay, both have me in stiches. Especially with the toilet humour!

So what's yours? Who do you find yourself giggling stupid at!?

That Michael Mcintyre had me cracking up on the Royal Variety with his 'One Shoe' line when your shopping for shoes!!

I really love Bill Hicks, but he's an american (now deceased), and not a lot of people have heard of him (I think).

i still love jasper carrot - who i am seeing in birmingham next week
dara oo braian is good too
i cant wait - its the first time ive seen him!

Lee Evans is a star!!!!!

I like his rendition of Bohemian Rhapsody! :giggle: :giggle:

   Without a doubt, Ken Dodd.

I like Jack Dee and if I'm in the mood for filth the late Richard Pryor.

I'll second Dara O'briain. Saw him a month ago in Canterbury. He was hilarious.

i love peter kay

hes funny as !

He rarely stood, but Dave Allen was so funny. Were he alive now, the PC Brigade would have him beheaded :-(
Bill Bailey is so funny on Never Mind The Buzzcocks, and i've never heard him swear, so family friendly too
I always find Jimmy Carr's dead-pan approach hysterical.
I saw him live in Manchester, before he made it big. His suit and "posh" accent went down well. One of his 1st lines was, "i'm not ****"......i wish i'd have shouted back, we'll be the judge of that

Ricky Gervais!!

There's a newish stand up guy called "Will Smith"

He was hilarious when I went to see him at the comedy store in Manchester.

To describe him think:

a mix between Tim nice but Dim and Jimmy Carr.

He’s not really been on TV yet though.

Would have loved to have seen Bill Hicks before he died.
Got his cds though.
"Children are smarter than any of us. Know how I know that? I don't know one child with a full time job and children." lol

Saw Frank Skinner live a few years ago....highly recommended.
My face has never ached as much!

   Without a doubt, Ken Dodd.

Went to see Ken Dodd in October.

Michael Macintyre was great. I think Lee Mack is prilliant too.

Peter Kay, Jimmy Carr, Jack Dee, Dara Obrien, and loads of others all come onto my top list. Oh, and Lee Evans!!

And let's not forget the hilarious Canadian - Emo Philips!!

I didn't know Bill Hicks is dead Emma. I believe he used to smoke a lot though... (?) :-(

And as for "Will Smith"... been looking for something of him in ages. I remember him being hilarious on the Royal Variety show a couple of years back.

And let's not forget Baddiel and Skinner live and unplanned.

Bill Bailey is brilliant live!

My fave comedians at the moment are Michael McIntyre, Ross Noble, who I'm going to see in Belfast in May, Omid Djalili and of course Russell Brand.

chris rock is hilarious, also like jimmy carr, alan carr and ricky gervais

Watched Paddy McGuinness last week, very funny aswell.

Tim Vine - brilliant!
