Not sure it could any more ridiculous than having a planet as a death star, but jj abrams is still about so who knows.

Nothing like milking a franchise...but with a fan base always ready to spend, why wouldnt they!

There are another 3 films at least after this one.

Hopefully it's better than The Force Awakens. Loved Rogue One though

    Sith happens.

there's one new film every year I believe.

The Force Awakens was too "safe", and I think it could impact on this film. Rogue One I loved it (had a giant smile on my face throughout, then that ending my face fell off) simply is a pure Star Wars fan film which brilliantly links the prequels to the original trilogy. I frickin love Star Wars.

However reading on Star Wars episode 8 now titled The Last Jedi, atm I feel disappointed. The director has not really given a clear precedence for the film by describing the tone differently every time he's asked about it, apparently the film is going the route of revealing Snoke as Luke's grandfather (could make sense as we never saw Anakin's father in *the Phantom Menace), the probability of Leia being killed off, and then going all PC by making Finn gay with Tom Hardy's character and having a relationship triangle angle with Poe. Trailers might change my opinion and excitement for the film, but atm I will go to watch it like other films I am interested in but in standard viewing instead of IMAX for the last two.

"Apparently" Snoke is also Mace Windu, Rey is a Kenobi or the granddaughter of Sheev Palpatine, & Finn is Force-sensitive (& that is what "Awakened" within Episode VII, not Rey's abilities).

Why don't we just wait & see? Perhaps it may be more enjoyable to have a surprise... y'know, like in "The Empire Strikes Back" when Vadar was fighting Luke...

There was one in TFA, her name was Captain Phasma, then she did jack s*** in the film and got thrown in the dump. Assuming the dump is similar to the original trilogy death star dumps Phasma might be dead unless one of the workers realised she was in there.
