Who else thinks this is the mutts nuts?
I absolutely love the stuff!

I managed to find a recipe on how to make your own, and must say it is not far off from the real thing!

Recipe below...

Starbucks Gingerbread Latte


Ingredients

2 cups water
1 1/2 cups granulated sugar
2 1/2 teaspoons ground ginger
1/2 teaspoon ground cinnamon
1/2 teaspoon vanilla extract

Method

1. Make the gingerbread syrup by combining water, sugar, ginger, cinnamon and vanilla in a medium saucepan. Be sure the pan is not too small or the mixture could easily bubble over.

2. Bring mixture to a boil then reduce heat and simmer syrup, uncovered, for 15 minutes.
Remove the syrup from the heat when it's done bottle it up!

Yep!

Add an espresso, then top up with hot milk....

My syrup is quite sweet...unsure if this is caus I put too much syrup with my coffee, or there is too much sugar in general!

Im going to try different variations, so will let ya know!
I may try to filter the syrup, and see what that does!

Well, I filtered the syrup through some kitchen towel, and it looks much better now, however, is very sweet!
I used less syrup in my coffee too, but couldn't really taste it, so added more which then resulted in it being very sweet!

I'd probably suggest using 1 cup of sugar? Does anyone think this may be too much still?

I'll deffo give it another go!

Has anyone else tried it?
