ABOUT THIS GAME

Counter-Strike: Global Offensive (CS: GO) expands upon the team-based action gameplay that it pioneered when it was launched 19 years ago.

CS: GO features new maps, characters, weapons, and game modes, and delivers updated versions of the classic CS content (de_dust2, etc.).

"Counter-Strike took the gaming industry by surprise when the unlikely MOD became the most played online PC action game in the world almost immediately after its release in August 1999," said Doug Lombardi at Valve. "For the past 12 years, it has continued to be one of the most-played games in the world, headline competitive gaming tournaments and selling over 25 million units worldwide across the franchise. CS: GO promises to expand on CS' award-winning gameplay and deliver it to gamers on the PC as well as the next gen consoles and the Mac."

Even in prime there are cheaters, they just hide it better. There have been proven instances of cheaters at big pro events. There is literally no escaping it.

Everything you've said is correct. You just need to add that you have less chance of having your game spoiled when playing on prime.

Free accounts don't need to purchase an upgrade to prime status. They can instead grind it out to level 21 or 22 ( I forget) by playing the various modes.
I would definitely suggest prime if you're going to play competitive. Not sure how big the problem of cheaters is but I've not come across many in prime, and let's just say I've got a few hours in the game. Just report them and move on.
Whatever you do please don't be one of those people that cries every game about how everyone is cheating for the entire match.
