Which is the best steam generator iron which is powerful to do a lot of ironing?

I did a lot of research and bought the Tefal pro express total.
Great results tho sometimes spits some water on the clothes especially when using the front steam crease remover.
Much faster and easier than a normal steam iron
i had the bosch but that was dreadfully made I went for the tefal pro I still use it today hope that helps you decide
My first Tefal (£180) lasted 5 years.
After 3 years it was totally dead due to severe scaling, despite the anti-calc system.
I took it apart and descaled it with much kettle descaler.
Against manufacturer's advice.
Took me 36 hours.
Heating it up; unplugging it. Pouring in the descaler. Steaming it all out over the Kitchen sink.
That first Tefal then lasted another 2 years.
I then bought a cheap Groupon offer steam generator (I forget the make), which lasted only a year and a bit, again because of my very hard water.
Then hallelujah!
Someone on HUKD advised using de-ionised water. One the best bits of advice in my life.
I have since used de-ionised water exclusively and there is no sign of scale.
I buy de-ionised water (5L containers) from EuroCarParts where it's frequently on sale.
My current model since August 2016 is:
Tefal GV6340 Light and Compact Steam generator Iron, 2200W - Purple
Luckily on sale then for £69. C&C at Tesco Direct.
Cheapest now from Tesco Direct is £84.99.
What I have learnt to live without on this light weight model:
1: No Carry Handle.
2: No cable tidy.
But it is ample ironing capacity for 2 adults. Mostly because ironing is so quick.
I would recommend it.
When on holiday using a hotel iron - reminds me what a wonderful gizmo the Tefal is.
Any way - good luck with whatever you decide to buy.
Thanks for your help.
I've ordered tefal pro
