After a long break from gaming I’ve been looking at Steam, don’t really know how it works but I can figure that out. Wondering what sort of setup would be recommended, not looking to get a Steamdeck (at least I don’t think I am), was thinking more a laptop or PC so just how powerful a machine would be needed or is recommended..I realise budget would play a big part, so a budget of say under £1k, cheaper the better! Would be used for more casual gaming rather than all out serious stuff. Any advice please…..Thanks!!

To get started without the addition of that optional GPU, you can probably do it within half of your overall budget if you shop around.
Built my own machine for about £600. 8th Gen intel.
What I have found to be the real issue is storage.
Got this for £170 over black friday to solve the issue. argos.co.uk/pro…019
