Stocking Fillers for Mum this year - Idea's please

Hi all, I've not got alot of money to spend, but I was wondering if anyone has any nice stocking filler idea's for mums this year!

I have book my mum the Chicken book advertised on HUKD yesterday (she keeps chickens so this should be a hit)

Also got her a Tesco Finest candle reduced from £12 to £3 which smells yummy.

With hubby being out of work - I still want to make a bit effort for Mum, but obviously save some cost.

Also wondering if any of you prepare stockings for your mums? (Try to hold back crude responses!)

If she's out with the chickens in the early morn how about some thermals ?

She's always busy running around after everyone else! Thats why I like to make an effort - she never thinks of herself.

Hmm she has got into baking cakes recently - I might be able to do some research on that! Maybe a cake decorating book or something.

Wow thanks Kelly_o_fanatic - thats really great - she will love it. I've got some great pictures of the grand children for her, and she threw a great Halloween party this year for the local children - so I can include pictures of that too.
:-D:-D

I missed that post too! Shows how fast things move on here!

I've got my mum a diary as an extra (M&S do some nice ones - and the 1 day sale don't forget!)

Hiya - yes I do a stocking for my mum - well it ends up as a pair of tights usually! But it is done by three of us - originally my two sisters and I but since my middle sister died - her husband has taken on doing her share of Mums stocking - which is lovely (She will be 97 on Christmas day - all being well - and still loves her stocking!)
Anyway - my suggestion is Charity shops! Not only do some of them sell their own (new) lines at reasonable prices - but they often have donated items people have been given as gifts and which are unopened and much cheaper than buying in the shops. You could also look for things related to - for example - your mums chickens! Maybe some funny ornaments or a kids toy chicken as a joke?

Good luck - am sure you enjoy doing it!

HI there, if she's just started baking how about some silicon cases, or an icing set.
