Strava yearly subscription £17.10 with VPN and a fee free payment card

This deal might not suit everyone, you'll need a VPN and a fee free payment card, I used Windscribe and Starling to get this price.
First set your VPN to Brazil, then log in to your Strava account (make a new one if you don't have one) click on Give a Subscription (top right icon). Fill in your details (use your Strava login email address, in the to part and an alias for the from part) then select country as Brazil for payment it should show R$119.90 (this part might not be necessary) click continue to payment and input card details and that should be it. You will get a link to redeem gift sent to your strava associated account email address.

Quick word of warning - the Brazil price came up on screen for me, but when I entered my UK card details, it charged me the full £47.99 without even confirming it had switched the price. Bit poor.

Interesting. Have been using the free version for years, now that they are changing the features for free and paid I have been looking into costing. Have you done this and there are no issues?

Nord. I was on my phone but I'll try it on my computer and see if it's any different.

Have you been doing it this way for a while without issue?

Thanks for this. I couldn't see the option to gift a subscription, but I was able to do it by going to strava.com/sum…ift
Using VPN Unlimited, I sent myself a gift subscription (from a different email address, just in case) and an email arrived soon after, allowing me to activate it.

Worked a treat using the uVPN chrome extension set to Brazil, gifted my self and my wife a year's subscription each for about £36.

Yes, I tried revolut...

The price was 119BRL

Any ideas?? Did you pay with Revolut??

I tried recently. Choosing Brazil only allows you to pay with a credit card which has to be registered in Brazil otherwise the card is declined. Most other country options allow you to pay with Paypal but are >£40 for the year so not much of a saving.

Ouch. Its a good service and happy to pay ~£20 for it. Not sure I value it at £48pa tbh
