Stupidly high ebay bids on ebay for graphics card. Is it money laundering?

I tried to find a 6800 XT for my nephew as he wanted one and can't find anywhere. When I went on ebay these were the prices I could see. I'm confused to what is going on here

Anyone have a clue?
