It’s never too late to learn a new skill – or to do something lovely for another person.

86-year-old Ed Moseley is proof of that.

When his care home announced plans to knit little hats to keep premature babies warm and cosy, Ed Moseley knew he wanted to be part of it – despite the fact that he’d never knitted before, and had no clue how to do it.

Ed asked his daughter to come and help him out. She agreed, and brought along a looming kit with a set of instructions on her next visit.
