Would he like a flight over the town in a helicopter?

A trip on the great Orient Express.

A weekend away..

What about a red letter day - balloon trip, racing car day, with a budget like yours it would be nice to do something he wouldn't think to pay for himself.

My Dad is 70 and has one of these, he goes on it every couple of days and does the fitness test (keeps telling me he's only 34 now!!) so agree with above. He's now asked for a Wii Fit for christmas, bless him, so a good recommendation.. He may turn his nose up at first and think it's a ridiculous idea but I bet within a few weeks he's hooked.

We got my grandad a flying lesson for his 90th and he loved it. They took him over his house, local landmarks etc. My dad and brother got to go with him and they all thought it was fantastic!!
