Found 25th Nov 2008
Can anyone suggest a nice restaurant to have lunch tomorow - going to kensington and then to see father christmas at harrods. Someone suggested rainforest cafe but it is going to work out at £140 to eat there for all of us. Thanks

We went to Giraffe for the first time when we visited Lakeside and were really impressed. Take a look at their website as they have some great offers on, as well as the one above, we found that if you ate between
5&7pm you got 2 courses for about £7 and they were scrummy, an absolute bargain. The kids also got colouring to keep them occupied.

Damn, I was gonna suggest the rainforest cafe as it's really fun, but you already quoted it in your OP....
McDonalds then?

pizza express, strada, nando's?

there are places to eat in harods which are lovely. my little boy and i love going to harrods, we go to the bakery and get cheese and bacon bread £1.95 each i think and they are so lovely and they bake all day so if you get them when they are warm, even better! they do lots of tasty treats.

we then have an ice cream if we are really pushing the boat out or choose a cake from the cake and sweet area, mummmm yummy

i'm off to see santa at harrods next week and already looking foward to the bread

have a lovely day xx
