Anyone seen the flood of super cheap (~£5) 64gb micro sd cards on ebay? They are being sold by sellers with good feedback and loads of sales. seems like it must be a scam but can't figure out how they can have such good ratings and so many sales. What do you think?

Cheap 64GB micro-sd cards usually have a much lower max capacity. Most will be about 2/4GB of writable data. Don't bother buying one.

don't buy these. I brought one a few months ago they work fine at first but after around 10 to 20% usage they no longer record. like me I only realised after 2months but had already left positive feedback. look for a well branded one from eBay. but there was also good offers on here from mymemory.

I found this with the 32gb ones.

check the listing, I should say somewhere about it being a 2gb card that has been reformatted. This makes them unstable though.

Yeah that makes sense. I checked the few bad ratings on the sellers and they were all pretty much complaints about broken or too small Sd cards. Weird they would risk their business selling that rubbish.

Their business IS selling that rubbish is it not? As in they're only selling these memory cards and not a wide variety of items.

mine was fine have loads on for 5a

Give it a month to break .

of course not,

They are just appear to be 64G. They are most likely to be 8G, 16G.

If you try to write the card to its full capacity, you will see.

There are softwares to hide the real capacity of a memory card. They may appear to be bigger, but you will never be able to use those fake, claimed capacities.
