Super Last minute holiday...leaving this week - tips please.

I was wondering if anyone had ever had any luck with getting a super late last minute deal holiday (inc flights+hotel) at this time of year?

I'd appreciate any tips you have in bartering with the big or small companies you may have used. From current research everything is £1000+, so I thought I'd call the operators direct and see if they were willing to take less in order to fill seats (I can hope!).

I want a holiday with the sun and sea, so I want to go further afield than Europe (not Egypt). I'm happy to go any time from Thursday 22nd for 14 nights (less than £900).

    Thanks in advance.

Canaries are still sun and sea at the mo, and VERY cheap to fly to/from.

look at Thomas Cook or Thompson holidays they normally offer good last minute deals.

    how many people? just 1??

if your willing to wait until depart on the 27th Teletext holidays are selling Morocco all inclusive for around £800-900

There are two of us. I'm hoping for the Caribbean or Mexico...

We checked on Thomas and Thompson but it is generally for 7 days.

    Thanks all!

Hand you tried eBay, people sell holidays leaving soonish as they can no longer make it at reduced cost

    eBay lol
    That will end in tears.
Just google cheap holidays and crack on.

The best price at the moment seems to be Caybeach Caleta Costa Caleta,Fuerteventura, 24 Dec 2016, 14 Nights

Fuerteventura is a dump, tacky and lacks any kind of history or entertainment. Unless you want a cheap boozing holiday that is.

I beg to differ. Corralejo is a great place for a relaxing holiday, great food and value, cheap villas and car hire (£60 a week), winter sun and one of the best beaches in Europe. I suspect you went to Costa Caleta which is as you described
