Its true, it was on the news last night.

General Motors own Saab and have been trying to sell it for ages.

Nobody wants it so it is being "wound down"

Of course anything can happen in this economic climate.

Who would have thought a year or so back that Abbey, Bradford and Bingley and Alliance and Leicester would all be leaving the high street.

Gradually during 2010 they will all be known at Santander

I don't know anyone who owns or has owned a Saab.

This is not a great loss to the world of carmaking, unless you work for them.

Beg to differ, I owned a Saab for a few years and it was pretty much bombproof and a quality product as well.

Only downside was the cost of parts, repair and service. I got a small tear in the rubber bumper once and they wanted £250.00 plus labour to fix it and that was 20 years ago !!

Not a fashionable car though and in this day and age quality counts for very little IMO.

]Trick photography ? Nah !!

Saab's are quality cars, might not look brilliant, but they last for ages. Friends of mine have a 22 year old Saab that still works.

would be shocking
