Switching from Xbox 360 to Xbox One.

Because of the lack of Sky Go support for the new Xbox One, I've been pretty reluctant to make the switch from my Xbox 360. But because it seems more and more of my friends have decided to purchase an Xbox One for Xmas, I feel the time maybe coming for me to make the switch to.

Would I be right in saying that apart from your gamer tag and achievements, nothing else gets transferred over?

I'm not too bothered about the various DLC I've downloaded but, being a big music fan, I love Rock Band and I've exported the previous Rock Band's music onto my hard drive to play on Rock band 3.

Anyone had problems transferring data from the Xbox 360 to the Xbox One?

Just keep them both, thats what I did.

Probably worth keeping both for the time being.

I was hoping sell my Xbox 360 to raise some money to put towards the Xbox One but I may have to keep them both.

no game data or download content will transfer across, the game you mentioned isnt even out on the new console and most likely never will be

i kept my 360 thinking i would always turn it on ad have a go of some of the games.....reckon its had about 20 minutes play in a year

made the switch today and was gutted to see that the Xbox one does not have a sky app. Anyone know if that is likely to change?

I've been waiting for this for a while, and that's the main reason why I haven't already bought one. From what I've been reading over the past 6 months, there's very little information on whether they'll make the Sky app available for the Xbox One.

Say that though, it's recently been announced that it's becoming available for the PS4 so I'm hoping it's going to be the same for the Xbox One soon.

Last time I looked on sky forums they said they didn't have plans to release it on xbone

I honestly think they will. It reminds me a lot of waiting for the iPad Facebook app when the first iPad came out.

Mind you, I am just guessing.

I'm hoping it won't be too long in coming. I really fancy the look of the new Battlefield Hardline which is due out in March so I'll probably wait until then before getting an Xbox One.

I contacted sky a few months back (February) and they said they have no plans on developing one quickly.

Sky go app is out on PS4 would only guess its coming soon for Xbox
