    T-mobile 18 month contract

    Right so, my contract is up in either february or march and the woman phoned me trying to get me to stay on it but i dont want to, and she mentioned something like '30' days notice to cancel contract?? Does this mean i have to tell them within those 30 days notice or before the 30 days notice? I've searched the net and just couldn't find it.

    Any idea's???

    ...tell the scanking b"!£$%^s now, and on the 30th day before your contract ends. By rights your contract is only for 18 months, if you should have to tell them anything its that you want to stay on with them not that you wan to leave! But they will weedle their way outta that and pass on some sort of cancellation charge! So yeah tell them loads of times so as to be covered yourself and they have no comeback on you what so ever.

    THEY ARE ROBBING b%ST$RDS, they have tried to charge me £18 for an early contract fee. They can go get stuffed. They were given the appropriate notice, but lo and behold cant find the telephone conversation we had about it. Had to go through their own retention department to confirm that I had phoned in the first place!!
    get the name of the person you spoke to and dont take any cr%p from them. ALWAYS ask to speak to the supervisor and if no luck then, their supervisor and so on.

    A lot of people think that once your contract is actually up, that's the end of it but that's not the case, as it becomes a rolling 30 day contract until you give them 30 days notice but you can do this 17 months into your contract.

    If you have a friend who owns there own business, then I would recommend getting on a business contract, as I just found a superdooper (whatever that means lol) deal. :-D

    As long as you give them 30 days notice before your contract expires, then you're fine.

    As an alternative, if you;re simply moving over to another network, you can get a PAK code (which takes 2 days) and then you can leave immediately once your contract is up.

    Small caveat on that one, if you get a PAK code but don't use it then your contract won't be cancelled at all, and will carry on as a rolling one month contract.
