    T Mobile Change in T&C

Received a text today stating the following:

"From 29 June we're making changes to our roaming charges & on 1 Aug we're changing out terms & conditions to make things even clearer t-mobile.co.uk/EUTerms"

Is there anyway of getting out of my contract which ends in November earlier. Can I use the argument that the change in contract is of material detriment to me..

There will be a T&C in the initial contract that states T-Mobile can change the T&Cs at any time providing they do inform you far in advance prior to the new changes taking place. You can end your contract early, but you cant use it as an excuse to end it and pay nothing. You will have to pay a fee. This is usually the line rental on the outstanding months, however if you can proove that the T&Cs have a greater financial impact on you then you could use that as grounds to negotiate a lower charge to end your contract.

Many people think that they can just stop paying and end the contract legally. This isnt the case, as you would see if you read the full T's & C's there is a clause that states they can change them at any time. And when you take out your contract initially, you are agreeing to that. So unless you can proove that the change in T&C's breaks some law then this is what you signed up for. And this is what you have to pay to get out of said contract I'm afraid.

    Yes you can.
Of course they will know by your previous usage whether it is detrimental to you.

just got the text, 1st of thought woo hoo, as with vodafone doing there great roaming offer, then checked t-mobiles site, and they have put the cost up 5p per min, doh!

    i don't understand ?

I'm on contract with t-mobile so does this mean you can cancel the contract whenever wanted,
but need a good reason too ?

    Thanks
