With a username like yours are you sure you aren't the man who threw the mouse on the fire? Or the mouse who set fire to the house? Good enough for him, he learnt the hard way not to torture defenceless animals

hmm didnt think of that jonny :L

but no it rains to much here, i cant seem to set the soggy leaves alight:(

If I had been horrible enough to burn alive a mouse that then burned my house down, I would not tell the world about it! It does seem like some sort of justice though! Well done mousey

A US man who threw a mouse onto a pile of burning leaves could only watch … A US man who threw a mouse onto a pile of burning leaves could only watch in horror as it ran into his house and set the building ablaze.Luciano Mares, 81, of Fort Sumner, New Mexico, found the mouse in his home and wanted to get rid of it."I had some leaves burning outside, so I threw it in the fire, and the mouse was on fire and ran back at the house," he was quoted as saying by AP.Though no-one was injured, the house and everything in it was destroyed."I've seen numerous house fires, but nothing as unique as this one," Fire Department Captain Jim Lyssy said.New Mexico has seen several major blazes after unseasonably dry and windy conditions which have destroyed 10 homes and devastated more than 53,000 acres (21,200 hectares) of land.

But how many would throw it on a bonfire compared to how many would get rid of it a sensible way.

He's been given a epic lesson in respect for all creatures. lol

yeah to make something burn to death is defo wrong.....but thats one extremely epic lesson learnt.... but look...he was an 81 yr old american....he probabaly burns all sorts on that bonfire.... ! my point is (i know im rubbish at making it....) is that it was an old american bloke...u'd expect him to be quite ignorant like that...yes he learnt a lesson but he paid a massive price..gotta feel for the idiot.

    Good on Mousey.

Well the way we do it in this country isnt exactly nice, the poison basically makes them bleed to death, and it takes a long time.

Nope, i've had people from the council and an independant exterminator in and they both used poison, and the sticky traps, they said they rarely use traps as the mice are to savvy these days.

Our mice must be dumbasses as they just use the normal traps here. X)

lol well traditional traps at least kill them outright, the poison and the sticky traps you can hear them squeeking, it's horrible, but i had young kids and couldnt have them running around. I lived in a mid terrace and it was practically impossible ti get rid of them.

My cats bring them home for me.............but generally missing vital things like legs and heads. oO lol
