I just got a tassimo machine from a member...

Are there any tassimo pod alternatives ? Like supermarket own brands?

yep, Lidl do what the call pods, I used in my phillips senseo, so not sure how much different the tassimo is to the senseo, i also have a small converter that allows me to use filtered coffee without the pod/pad. Maybe they do one for the tassimo

Costa do pods but at the moment there's £10 off £25 spend and free delivery from Tassimo so the cheapest way is to make an order (or two) using the discount

Cheapest way for good coffee is a french press or a stove top espresso maker.

Most expensive way is to get a pump espresso machine and steam nozzle with perhaps a built in bean grinder.

Anything that requires proprietary products to ensure its continued production is not worthy of use.
