why not just phone a company there and ask?

taxiroute.co.uk

Your fare was calculated using the Liverpool Hackney Tariff

It was also calculated using the sub tariff DAY RATE: For journeys beginning after 6.00.am. and ending before 11.00.pm.

TaxiRoute calculates your fare should cost very close to this.

Taxi Fare: £6.02

Distance: 2.83 miles

Time: 9.15 minutes

thanks tussfc,

5-6 quid.

Do not forget to add the surcharges
£2.50 fuel surcharge(covers the extra long detour route, cause you havent a clue which way it is)
£1.10 On the spot fine for interrupting the hourly general meeting of taxi tall tales and found on the back seat swap.
£3.00 how dare you tax.for getting into a red taxi wearing dirty disgusting blue doh!
£1.40 supplement tax, interrupting brew time
Getting dropped outside the local football field, cause you havent got a glue Priceless!!

Eh? Eh? Calm down, calm down.

on a match day the traffic around those old streets is terrible, will probably cost you nearer a tenner. I'd advise to get out and walk when you're about 10 mins away, just follow the other fans if you're unsure of the way.

There is a bus rank straight across the road when you leave via the main exit at Lime Street that has frequent buses that go to Anfield & Goodison. Theres also a tourist information centre there that can advise you on which bus to take

Probably about £8 depending on traffic as mentioned above the roads are choker on a match day and slightly higher price for a black cab.

If you had spare time you could walk from lime street station to central station (approx 10 mins) and get the train to kirkdale station and then the ground is probably 15 minutes walk if that to the ground. Wont be much cheaper than a taxi from the town centre but you could take in some match day atmosphere if you are around the area

What's on next Wednesday then, a testemonial?
