dont use them, they're prices are WAY to high, go private with it, there is probably somebody on here who has their own business like this or just look on the internet or something HTH

problem is remember no business like transactions on here and no self promotion allowed ;-)

7 years old, it's probably heading towards end-of-life anyway. Hard drives only last 5-10 years (depending on make and use). You may be better investing the money in a new PC, or at least buying a new Hard-drive and getting someone to reinstall windows...

I wouldn't let the people at PC World touch your PC with a bargepole, for an older machine you'd be best finding a friend who could help you out as the chances are the amount of money you're going to be charged by anyone to have a look at your PC simply won't be worthwhile against the cost of the PC.

Don't forget to back up your data !!!
(very performance can somtimes spell impending hard-drive failure doom situation )

it's 7 years old, the slowness is trying to tell you something

I have got the discs, I'm just a bit pathetic with this kind of thing, I think I'll take advice and see if I can find someone in my village that might be able to help.

Anyone have advice on what to do with script errors appearing everytime I'm on the net??? presumably this would go if I wipe and reset the whole thing?

    THANKS ALL!

Why spend that much money on a 7 year old PC.

Why not put it towards a new one.

Technolody has moved on leaps and bounds in 7 years.
