doubt they will do anything. you say 10dogs is it a litter of puppies?

just ring them, and do it asap because we have a duty to protect, so many people dont think of others any more and then are surprised when something bad happens
If they are being kept fine there's no harm done.

the RSPCA will come and visit them and check the conditions they live in.

My next door neighbour has two but never walks them, but to be fair you can hardley hear them and they look in good condition. - its a shame though cause dogs should be walked at least twice a day.

no they just seem to collect unwanted dogs! and then tells everyone all about it

    Emergency help
If you need to report an act of cruelty, neglect or concern about the welfare of an animal, call the RSPCA's 24-hour national cruelty and advice line on 0300 1234 999.

Because you have posted on here you have concerns for the dogs/puppies therefore you must ring the RSPCA. let them investigate, at least then if they don't do anything you will be able to sleep with a clear conscience, thats of course if you can get some sleep with all the dogs howling.

ring RSPCA. u have nothing to lose but those dogs may have something to gain

Contact local council about noise pollution - they can do something if its really bad or unsociable. Start a diary of dates/times and what you hear. If the owner is a council tenant they will issue a notice if its bad and can evict them if they dont stop

Just out of curiosity have you seen anyone going in and out of the property recently?
Maybe something bad has happened to the owner.

    10 dogs in a 2bedroom house - mad,I couldn't imagine having 2 in here,nevermind 10.
You should def report it to RSPCA or something, cos then they chekc the condition they kept in at least.

Shame they don't get walked, thought most dogs needed some kind of walking each day.

If I was one of the dogs I would have nailed the owner and eaten them up :-D

i'd personally be a bit more 'creative' with what you say, then at least they will get checked over by the RSPCA

im sure 10 dogs in a small house in this heat ...with windows all closed... and you havent seen the owners all day...?;-)

hardly see the owners at all,but hear them shouting at the dogs to shut up!
I know some weekends they go away and the dogs are left there but i do see someone else going in and out,i presume to give them food and water

If they collect unwanted dogs themselves then I do not understand why they would be cruel to dogs..

It is a nuisance, but you'll find that most EH departments will not investigate dog barking nuisance - mine doesn't - it's deemed to be a civil matter.

In that case it's probably in breach of their tenancy agreement. If you have a serious problem with the situation report them to the HA.

See my post #20 above - I work in Environmental Health.

They may treat things like this differently down south, but I can guarantee the 32 local authorities up here won't investigate barking dogs.
