Termination of a Phone + SIM Contract due to Coverage

Hi all,

Hoping someone is able to provide some insight into the above. We have had poor signal on Three in my area in recent months. I have a sim only (my main sim) and a phone and sim deal that I got off here (thanks MrSwitch!). I went on live chat today after having taking 7 calls to eventually book an appointment for my car's service as the network is shocking and they agreed to terminate my main (Sim only) contract without any fees.

My other contract is less used but does get use and I experience the same issues. With that in mind, what are people's experiences with cancelling phone contracts due to signal? Will I be expected to return the phone, pay a termination fee relating to the handset, or other?
