We all know who the blame is gonna go on.

A criminal act, not a terrorist.

The perpetrators probably.

here we go again

Just shocking how this will now be on the front page of every newspaper yet the brutal killings of Rohingya Muslims by extremist Buddhists will go unheard of.

All over mainstream news (as usual).

bbc.co.uk/new…901

bbc.co.uk/new…816

Instead of deflecting news stories posted on here to a completely different story, how about you post the story that suits your needs most in hukd misc?. There has been a few members like yourself on here complaining about news stories not making mainstream media (that so happens to involve muslims in the particular news story), yet when i've investigated that have actually been on mainsteam media and WELL documented. It seems some people just prefer to ignore them.

Anyway, about maynmar, instead of complaining about it, how about make a donation?.

muslimaid.org/cam…OnQ

I can't guarantee muslimaid will actually help those people, but surely if it bothers you then that would be your first port of call instead of complaining in a miscellaneous section of a shopping forum?.

Hope that helps.

Wonders who would go in and attack innocent elderly infirm religious pensioners with a knife and sawed-off shotgun

oh wait the deniers are already at it in this thread so I'm not allowed to speculate on recent past - I must wait for official unbiased media with no political agenda to report the facts

I'm out

We need one of these for planet earth

I agree Fred. Went to BBC/news, found "World" section in tiny letters, then on the next page "Asia" again in tiny letters. And then the article was in the 2nd frame - with some others. Not the main story on BBC>World>Asia. Considering this is "accused" genocide, on a large scale, I'd say it should be front page - IMO of course.
It wasn't so long ago the the BBC would have put this on the front page (given Great Britain's history with Burma/Myanmar). How times (and priorities) have changed?

maybe people arent interested, first time I've heard anyone mention it, probably you should open a thread about it instead of derailing this one.
BTW nobody doubts that indeed other countries exist apart from France.

Very sad...

The husband of a care worker stabbed to death at a religious retirement home today claimed the building was completely unguarded despite France being under a state of emergency.

Anti-terror police were leading a manhunt around the village of Montferrier-sur-Lez, near Montpellier after an intruder brandishing a shotgun and knife struck at the Green Oaks retirement home for missionaries who have worked in Africa.

An unidentified woman was bound, gagged and then stabbed to death last night before the killer fled, leaving some 50 elderly monks and other staff members to be rescued by police.

It doesn't not fit with the agenda. Simply try to point out that Muslims are victims as much as anyone else and you are labelled a denier or sympathiser. Or you get told because it's news from a far, far away place it does not matter.

so open a thread about it, why derail this one? OPEN A THREAD ABOUT IT IF YOU ARE UPSET ABOUT A DIFF STORY!

Sadly this will lead to the rise of far right most likely, in which case those terrorists will achieve their aim, apologists and divertists abound in here, pathetic as attacking an old woman is pointing out that other old women exist.

There was a link to the main story on the front "Home" page of BBC a few days ago - if you contact the BBC I'm sure they will confirm this
It's nobody else's fault if you missed this and other more recent news stories mean it loses it's news story worthyness

Ah the victim card. We better post all these victim stories as much as we can and keep quiet about the same people that instigate atrocities.

A rational, normal human being without a sick agenda in competing for front page news would of simply looked at raks comment, did a simple google search on his story which he claims to be unheard of in the news, to find ENDLESS mainstream media reports on the issue, then you could reply to his comment and tell him how wrong he is.

Doesn't fit ones agenda though, does it?.

Funny because I've never seen you (or Racks-8 ) post a thread about Rohingya or Muslims who are persecuted in other countries like Palestinians in Yarmouk Camp Syria or in Jordan - places where they have been forced by those governments to live as second class citizens for decades with little or no rights to education, healthcare, employment etc. Or the Tamils, Kurds, the genocide of Christians and Yazidis in ISIS held territories... Is that because these poor persecuted people don't fit in with your agenda?

Why is it ALWAYS Muslim fundamentalists with you?

And France is ...?.

And France is a part of this union we currently belong to 26 miles form our shores connected by a big tunnel.

I posted a thread yesterday about the persecution of a British minority Muslim group. Things have got so bad for these poor people that they now need metal detectors to protect their mosques and have had to hire specialist security to search vehicles visiting their places of worship for bombs. One of their number was recently assassinated in in a brutal terrorist attack (even though the media failed to report it as such). Where were you Zainarafiq, Sofia, raks8 etc with your condemnation of this persecution of British Muslims? Nowhere to be seen. Now that's hypocrisy.

Probably because in the last 4 years in France 274 people have been murdered and 474 seriously injured by Islamic fundamentalists in 24 separate terrorist attacks. Something people like you seem to have a problem recognising.

Yes. I can understand that when there are several deaths in one or a series of events but for a one off it is highly unlikely to be a terrorist event.

Its almost as if some people on this site relish terrorist attacks.

Yes Fred & there are thousands more proving people murder people in France & it has nothing to do with terrorism.

& anybody that reads a news headline of a murder in France & automatically thinks "terrorism" must be a little out of touch with reality.

3100 (lets say 3000 separate events) murders unrelated to terrorism in the same period you say 274 (lets say 20 separate events) were murdered by terrorists.

So again. If you read of a single murder in France why would you automatically think it is terrorist related when the odds are 150 to 1?

“At this stage we can’t say exactly what the perpetrator’s motive was, but what we can say is that there is no link, none at all, with Islamist terrorism,” Montpellier prosecutor Christophe Barret told reporters.

yet the usual suspects on here were than happy to peddle the islamic terrorism angle even though it was not mentioned by police in their initial reports.

We need to bring an end to mass hysteria. The only beneficiaries are opportunists like Farage and Trump. Farage is stuffing his face with Ferrero Rocher and laughing at the rest of us chumps fighting amongst ourselves.
