there is alot in the british constitution that doesn't make much sense.

I'd be surprised if any of it made sense considering we don't have one Yeah the touchy subject of Human Rights plays a big part on how stupid some things in this country are

a town a few miles from me had a police van drive 60 miles (120 round trip) because it would infringe on someone's human rights" being handcuffed crossing the road to go to the right court! as they had 'delivered' him to the wrong, a few metres over the road!!

    Rule Britannia we own

Duh.. she isn't planning to bomb britain- isn't that a good enough reason not to let her in?!

By rights Visas are denied for anyone with a criminal record comming to Britain as is the case with Uk subjegated residents travelling to America, no doubt like many other celebrities she can apply for special permission to visit so the UK government has done the right thing by deniying straight forward Visa application.

"subjegated" ??? Apart from the misspelling, it is subjugated, When did we get invaded and enslaved

Stupid country is all i can say, not worth the breath

Well what about that latest guy Abu qatadar or summat? He's wanted in over 8 countries for terrorism and they gave him a visa to stay in 1993, they've even given him house arrest instead of slinging him in prison, also what about all those other immigrants who rape/murder people whilst here, and they're allowed asylum.

as far as i can tell the reason he's not in prison is that theres not enough evidence to actually put thim there, so no matter how odious etc he is then until we have detention without trial(won't be long) then fair enough.

if while here martha stewart murdered someone then she too presumeably would be granted asylum as we cannot extradite people to countries where she could face the death penalty.
